Requirements for Filipino Spouse

1. Application form (use specific format as required by Embassy)
2. One passport sized colored photo (Should be attached at the application form)
3. Passport  Original(6Mons. Valid)
4. Copy of Passport Bio-Page
5. PSA Marriage Certificate Original
6. Original NBI Clearance (Within 3months, valid for travel abroad)
7. Original Medical Certificate (Within 6months)
   – Should be  typewritten/computerized with Hospital letter head, contact number  and Physician’s signature.  Please check example of Physical Examination. Certificate format for  travel abroad with additional AIDS, VDRL, and Psychological tests)
8. Original & Copy of CFO certificate (issued from CFO, www.cfo.gov.ph)
9. Personal Details Form (use specific format as required by Embassy)
10. Proof of Korean Language Proficiency

One of the following – TOPIK Certificate/ Certification of completion from designated institution (Sejong)/Copy of diploma in Korean language degree/ Proof of Filipino-Korean status  *Exempted if there is a child born between the couple

*If there is a language that can be spoken by the couple other than Korean, there will be an interview.

While You Were Sleeping was a korean drama aired last year 2017 starring Lee Jong-suk, Bae Suzy, Lee Sang-yeob, Jung Hae-in and Ko Sung-hee.

In Episode 1, Choi Ae-Ra (Kim Ji-Won) and Ko Dong-Man (Park Seo-Joon) take this overpass located in  Itaewon-dong, Seoul, close to Namsan Park.

Seoullo 7017 Skygarden

The Healing Table

This restaurant is located on the 2nd Floor of  The Noble Valenti [노블발렌티] building in Gangnam, Seoul. This is the restaurant where Baek Seol-Hee and Kim Joo-man ate an expensive lobster and scene the flashback in Episode 15.

This is known as the Namil Villa in the drama and is actually located in Busan.  They actually featured the art design of the staircase between building 2 and 3.

오랑대 Shrine, Gijang-eup

This s a scene from Episode 2 where Ae-ra, Seol-Hee and Dong-man plays. They’re still children here. In the background, we see the red Daebyeon Hang East Breakwater lighthouse [월드컵기념등대].

This shrine is located in the park 오랑대공원 in Gijang – Daebyeon, Busan, South Korea.

It’s summer in Korea but it’s also rainy days, I feel happy when after a week of raining, I have time to go outside and see some filming locations.

MARRONNIER PARK [마로니에공원]

The Liar and His Lover

At Marronnier Park where “The Liar and His Lover” was filmed. This park is located in front of the Seoul National University and you can also reach Ihwa Mural Village and Naksan Park from here.

The Legend of the Blue Sea and My Love from the Stars

I went to Namsan Tower or N Seoul Tower also where “My love from the Stars” and “The Legend of the Blue Sea” filmed some scene there. Actually there are many Korean dramas filmed here like “Boys Over Flowers”, where Gu Jun-pyo (Lee Min-Ho) waited for Guem Jan-di (Ku Hye-sun) until she shows up on a snowy day in episode 4. He asked her to come but he didn’t take it seriously because she didn’t gave an answer. Finally, thet got locked up in the N Seoul cable car and spend the whole night there.

This was actually an accident, I didn’t know that City Hall is near Gwanghwamun Square and I was lucky to found out that City Hunter of Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young was filmed here.  The scene was the 1st episode of City Hunter where Lee Yoon-Sung (Lee Min-Ho) made a stop there after arriving in Seoul while Kim Na-Na (Park Min-Young) giving out flyers just a couple of meters away from him.

This is Oh Cho Rim’s (Shin Se-Kyung) house in Sensory Couple or The Girl Who Sees Smells (냄새를 보는 소녀) (2015). In reality this is a gallery cafe named as “Gaeppul [개뿔]” located in Ihwa Mural Village and just near Bong Soon (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon) and Hye-Jung’s (Doctos) house.

Nami Island

When you hear the place Nami Island, which comes first in your mind? I guess it would be the drama series way back 2002, Winter Sonata where the setting was in Nami Island and led by Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo. If I am not mistaken Winter Sonata was aired in the Philippines after 2003 by GMA and that started we Filipinos have knew about the Nami Island.

The first time I came here was last year 2016, it’s winter time but sad it didn’t snow. This is one of my favorite destinations in Korea. We used the ferry boat to go to the island but you can also use the zip wire if you want and that costs 38,000 won.

This is how Nami Island looks like during winter when it’s not covered with snow.  I wish I checked the weather if it’s snowing or not so I saw how this island became white.

So for the first time I saw the Cholo and Jodie statue ~ I saw how people have known this drama even if its been a long time. A lot of people taking pictures in this statue.

Nami Island was the first filming location of one of the korean dramas I have watched. I am fan since “The Autumn in Heart” was aired in my country.

During winter, this fire pits are used . When you feel really cold you can stay here for a bit.

One of the best statue you will love and understand when you are a breastfeeding mom. I breastfeed my son since birth up to now and he’s 18 months already. That’s a awesome, right?

I like this rock stackings. In Korea, you will find a lot of this, in temples and on hiking trails. My teacher told me that you add a rock to a stack and make a wish. If the stacks stays still you wish will come true but when if its falls then your wish won’t come true. Some also uses this rock stack as prayers.

I brought my friends with me and took some photos of them there. These are Sonny Angels, cute and small toys which came in a blind box. If you are interested with them you can buy them at any Art Box shop in Korea.

Though I did not took a lot of photos of the Island because I was overwhelmed. I am more excited to see the place than take pictures 😀 It was my birthday so I enjoyed the amazing view of the place.

We also came to Nami at the last week of Spring. We take the ferry boat again and the buggy since I was with my sister-in-laws family. We have kids and I think it’s more advisable to ride on it.

I love flowers as always so I won’t let the chance not to take any flowers.

Not sure, if this rail bike was new or not because I didn’t saw this last winter and some of the sides was under renovation.

My son who’s trying to remove the skin of each tree that he passed by. 😀

My Home made Bibimbap

Bibimbap is a super-popular korean dish and it’s a bowl mixed of rice, sautéed and seasoned vegetables (namul: 나물), a bit of hot pepper paste (gochujang: 고추장) and a bit of seasoned raw beef ((yukhoe: 육회).

Bibim (비빔) means as “mixed,” and bap (밥) means “cooked rice,” so it literally means “mixed rice.” You gonna mixed everything all together before eating.

This dish have many variations, from simple to elaborate. Making the classic bibimbap is not quick and easy, it takes some time to make. Because you have to prepare the sidedishes like the gosari, soy bean sprouts, cucumber, carrots, zucchini, spinach and egg. This one that I made doesn’t have beef, but you can still add if you want.
