Currently Watching: Korean Drama

Many people say that watching a korean drama will be an addiction. One drama to another until you couldn’t count the dramas you have seen. Then when you liked the main character you’ll gonna be watching his/her drama even the movies from where he/she started. I started being a fan of korean drama in 2000 when “Autumn in my Heart” was aired in the Philippines. Then it followed by “Jewel in the Palace”, “Empress Ki”,”Full House”, “Princess Hours”, Coffee Prince”, the Korean F4 known as the “Boys Over Flowers”, “The Winter, The Wind Blows”, “Jumong”, “The Princess’s  Man” and a lot more. Started from just one and it became a huge list…

There are 4 new korean dramas airing that I have added on my kdrama list. These are:

1. My Sassy Girl (2017)

3. Queen for 7 Days

“Queen for 7 days” starring Park Min-young, Yoon Woo-jin and Lee Dong-gun. KBS2 aired this drama every Wednesdays and Thursdays. The story is based on the historical figures of Queen Dang-yeong and King Joong-jong, and the story of how Lady shin became a queen, only to be dethroned from her position in seven days.

Bases on the NR this drama did not even enter the top 20 tv programs~~ but I’m still gonna watch it because of Park Min young. ♡

4. Man to Man

A korean drama every Fridays and Saturdays, 11pm (KST) aired by JTBC is about the story of a populat actor Yeo Woon-gwang (Park Sung-Woong) who specializes in portraying villains and a secret agent Kim Sul-woo (Park Hae-jin). Kim Sul-woo goes undercover to work as the bodyguard of Yeo Woon-gwang.

    1. Yes, I loved the original movie too. The drama brings over the structural story of the original movie right into a historical setting and it’s interesting.
